“Elegant Bed and Breakfast” We were warmly greeted upon arrival with hot cookies and tea and a lovely chat with Samantha. Her home is a beautiful French style home and is very roomy and well appointed. Our bedroom was large and very nicely decorated with a big comfortable bed and lovely linens. We enjoyed the large lounge with a roaring fire.
Samantha told us of a wonderful walk to an amazing chapel built by locals and renowned architects that is within an easy walk through her pasture, over her bridge along grazing cows and along side a lovely river. It made for a treasured memory, there's more to it than that but I won't spoil it for you, you'll have to experience it.
Our breakfast was very delicious and generous.
Samantha was very kind, helpful and a very caring hostess.
I would definitely recommend Riverdale and sure hope to return someday.

The Riverview Room boutique Bed & Breakfast within the Farmhouse

Furnished in a romantic French style, this beautifully appointed room is located in your own wing within

the farmhouse. It has its own private bathroom with hairdryer & shaver points, power shower and endless

hot water. Thick, thirsty towels are warming on heated rails and gorgeous NZ toiletries are available to

pamper yourselves with. Soft robes are provided for your comfort.

Crisp cotton sheets, delicious bed linen, and fresh flowers will soothe the soul. Select a CD from the

collection provided and let your cares slip away. Retreat to the private guest lounge - with crackling

open fire, TV, DVD, stereo and extensive library. Relax on the sun-drenched terrace under the vines

or in the secluded rear courtyard and soak up the tranquillity that is Riverdale.

Enjoy the peace & privacy of your own self-contained apartment in the country! With it's own entrance and

parking this self-catering, quirky little country haven was created when we converted our honey extraction

house into accommodation for you! Quite independent & separate from the Farmhouse and B&B

guests.

TV & CD player with music selection, mini library with books, magazines and games to pass an evening.

All linen & towels are supplied. Fully equipped kitchen has a full sized fridge and staple pantry items,

like olive oil, seasonings, muesli, cornflakes, tea & coffee etc. Step outside your door and pick fresh herbs. Please bring your own milk. Enjoy a drive along country lanes to a great Country Pub which offers great value meals every evening - just 6 minutes drive.
